Travel Information

By air, train, or car... welcome to Dallas.

By Air

The Dallas-Fort Worth area is supported by two major airports:

DFW is the first airport to earn Global Biorisk Advisory Council (GBAC) STAR facility accreditation. GBAC is a division of ISSA, the worldwide cleaning industry association.

The achievement demonstrates the Airport's commitment to keeping customers and employees safe by implementing the industry's highest standards for cleaning, disinfection, and infectious disease prevention. “While nearly every organization can claim that they’ve improved their approach to cleaning in the wake of the pandemic, those that have earned GBAC STAR accreditation have the added credibility of independent validation,” said ISSA Executive Director, John Barrett.

From DFW

Taxis

Thirty (30) taxi companies provide service from DFW. A DFW Airport Guest Assistant is available at taxi stands 8:00 a.m.-midnight to help control the flow and ensure that you are placed with a taxi. Taxi service is available on the lower level of Terminals A, B, C, D, and E.

Rideshare (Uber, Lyft, WINGZ, and Alto)

App Based Ride Service is provided on the lower level downstairs from the Baggage Claim area with light blue signs stating “App Based Ride Service”. This is the only approved area for App Based Ride Service pickup.

Public Transit (DART)

The Dallas Area Rapid Transit (DART) rail service is a great way to visit many Dallas sights, landmarks, and more – all without a car. From DFW, take the Orange line East towards LBJ/Central, exiting at the West End station. Transfer to the Blue line South towards UNT Dallas for two stops, exiting at the Convention Center station. Passes are $2.00/midday and $6.00 for a full day pass. The DART rail station is located on Lamar Street at Memorial Drive.
