This year, the AIH Foundation provides fun activities to enjoy in the Expo Hall! Stop by the AIHA Booth #445 to engage your inner child and spark your creativity!

Monday, May 22

9:00 a.m. – 5:30 p.m. IH Heroes Zone (Free)

Peruse the latest IH Heroes stories (available in English and Spanish) and collect your swag! Available all day.

9:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. CARDZILLA (Free)

Got a steady hand? How’s your card-structure-building skills? Build your own card house, work with friends, or add to what’s already built! Cards provided.

10:00 a.m. – 5:30 p.m. LEGO^® Habitat Community Building Project
(Donation requested; while quantities last)

Build and add your own IH Habitat to the community display! Customize with some provided LEGO® parts. (Pick up your display on Wednesday or arrange with AIHA booth staff.) Kits are provided after donation to AIH Foundation OR build your own at home and bring it to the conference! (Instructions below.)

11:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. LEGO^® Speed Build Showdown
(Donation requested; while quantities last)

Returning by popular demand! Compete against your peers or the clock to build the AIHA logo in LEGO^® (instructions provided) for a chance to take your creation home! Entry tickets are available with a suggested $20 donation to the AIH Foundation; a ticket does not guarantee a logo kit.

There are two ways to participate!

Option 1: Build and bring from home

If you (or your family) have some spare bricks lying around, you can build your own habitat and display it at the AIHA Booth during the conference! 

• You can use any brick-building system, not just LEGO. 
• To join your Habitat to the community's display, it should be built using these guidelines (you can also watch this video or this one).
• The habitat should depict an OEHS work environment
• The habitat does NOT need a minifigure, but having one makes it much more interesting!
• Additional spare LEGO brick parts will be available on hand, if needed, and do not need to be returned at the end of the conference.
• AIHA staff will mark your display with your name; you can pick it up between 11:00 a.m. - 12:30 p.m. on Wednesday, May 24. (Other arrangements can be made if needed.)
• Even if your creation doesn't exactly match, that's okay! We'll be happy to display it anyway, just talk to an AIHA staff member at the booth.

Option 2: Donate to the AIHF and build onsite

The AIHF provides limited OEHS-themed habitat kits to be built and displayed at the AIHA Booth. For a $50 donation, donors can select one of 4 different kits to build and display. 

• Additional LEGO bricks and minifigures are available to use to customize your build. (Any parts used can be taken upon pickup; they don't need to be returned!) 
• Due to limited quantities, a maximum of 2 kits will be given to donors for the conference duration. 
• AIHA staff will mark your display with your name; you can pick it up between 11:00 a.m. - 12:30 p.m. on Wednesday, May 24. (Other arrangements can be made if needed.)

All contributors will be entered into a drawing for a cool OEHS-themed LEGO kit!

The following items are gifts for various donation amounts as listed. These items are only available onsite at AIHce EXP 2023 in Phoenix, Arizona, are not available for online purchase, and only while supplies last.
