Save on Registration Fees by Attending as a Group

Education sessions 800x533

Are several IH/OEHS colleagues at your company planning to attend AIHce EXP 2022? If you plan to attend together, you might qualify for a discounted group registration.

It can be expensive to attend a conference, and, in the past two years, some organizations have reduced their professional development budgets. Participating in AIHce EXP is easier with a group. When at least 10 employees from the same organization register to attend AIHce EXP, all registrants will ultimately pay less than they would have if they had each registered individually. The discount applies to all group members, regardless of the number of days they register for or if they register for virtual or in-person attendance.

The discount amount is calculated as a percentage of the group’s total registration fees and varies based on the size of the group. That is:

  • Each person registering for AIHce EXP 2022 as a member of a group of 10–19 attendees will receive 2.5%, or up to $30, off their registration fee.
  • Groups of 20–39 attendees receive 5% (up to $60) off per person.
  • Groups of 40–59 receive 7.5% (up to $90) off per person.
  • Groups of 60–79 receive 10% (up to $120) off per person.
  • Groups of 80–99 receive 15% (up to $180) off per person.
  • Groups of over 100 attendees receive 20%, or up to $240, off per person.

Group members’ AIHA or ACGIH member statuses may also affect the discount amount.

Each group registrant receives access to AIHce EXP OnDemand, a service that will host recordings of AIHce education sessions starting 6–8 weeks after the conference. Everyone who registers with a group will attend events according to their schedules and can obtain contact hours for CIH recertification at their pace. The group discount helps more IH/OEHS professionals and organizations benefit from the learning opportunities offered at AIHce EXP.

Aside from the monetary discount, attending the conference with colleagues grants social and professional benefits. If you follow the same sessions together, you can text or virtually chat about the presentation in real-time, which can be helpful if you pick up on information or have an insight that others miss. Suppose you attend separate sessions on topics of mutual interest. In that case, you can exchange notes about the sessions afterward—this is especially helpful if one of you must miss a session due to a schedule conflict. Regardless, staying connected with friends and professional contacts is particularly important for maintaining your network and keeping the conference fun.

Note: Group discounts cannot be combined with credits from the 2021 conference.
