Ground Transp​ortation from ATL


A set fee applies between ATL and the central business district (a special per-person rate applies for two or more passengers). Taxicab service is located in the Yellow Bus aisle. The fee structure is as follows:

Flat rate zone to and from the Airport ($2 charge for each additional person and Flag Drop Fee $1.50):
Downtown: $30.00
Buckhead: $40.00
Midtown: $32.00

Rideshare (Uber and Lyft)

Rideshare drivers pick up passengers at the North and South economy lots, which are a short walk from baggage claim. Passengers will proceed through baggage claim toward the Georgia Lottery booth for access to the lower-level escalators. Once downstairs, follow the orange signs to the Economy lot and request a ride only after arrival at the pick-up location.

MARTA’s Airport Station is inside the Domestic Terminal between the North and South baggage claims. Take the Red or Gold lines, which travel directly to and from the Airport Station, to the Five Points Station. Change trains to the western-bound Blue line (to Hamilton E. Holmes) or Green line (to Bankhead) and exit in one stop at the Dome/GWCC/Philips Arena/CNN Center Station.
